    This seminar will improve the participants’ knowledge of seniors’ issues and their inter-relationship with one another. In addition, the participants will receive communication tips to assist them in introducing difficult topics and encouraging their clients to disclose their concerns and hopes for the future. Finally, the participants will be given steps on how to begin and improve on intergenerational planning which will aide the participants’ current clients as well as present opportunities for the next generation of clients.

    1. Information Session:
    Grow your business and enhance your relationship with your clients by inviting them and their friends and family to learn more about the aging process and how to prepare for the complex needs they may have in the future. Housing, home care, legal, insurance, physical and practical needs will be discussed. Tips on discussing these topics with family members will be presented.

    2. Day with the care manager:
    Invite an elder care specialist to meet with individual clients to discuss their personal concerns regarding the aging process, such as housing, placement, home care, legal needs, etc. Have your office sponsor the day, or join together with other colleagues to invite many clients.

    Fees for a Day with the Care Manager are as follows:
    3 hours – $400
    6 hours – $700
